Assistant Principal's Welcome

Hello Sheffield-Sheffield Lake Families,

My name is Brian George and I am excited to start my 1st year as Assistant Principal at Brookside High School! From the moment I was hired I have felt incredibly welcomed by the students, staff and community. I look forward to working with everyone and being a positive asset to our school district.

Prior to working at Brookside High School, I spent 16 years at Cardinal High School in Geauga County as a Social Studies Teacher, Coach and Assistant Principal. As an educator I believe that with a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and good character anyone can achieve great things. I strive to instill those qualities in our young people and be a positive influence for them to achieve their own goals. My ultimate goal is to assist our staff in creating a safe educational environment that challenges our students to reach beyond their own expectations as they transition into adulthood.
